The hybrid online course is divided into 5 comprehensive modules. Each module is comprised of engaging video presentations, informative texts, practical assignments and a discussion platform. Additionally there is two live meetings with other students (maximum six participants) to foster interactive learning.
The course is built on two equally weighted components:
Self-Study Component (50%): Includes engaging video presentations, practical exercises, and a discussion platform, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and internalize key theories before live sessions. (To be completed before the Live sessions.)
Interactive Live Component (50%): Features two live sessions with practical exercises, group discussions, and case studies focused on teamwork and problem-solving. The live meetings lasts approximately three and a half hours, with three five-minute breaks (roughly one break per hour) to ensure a comfortable and interactive learning experience.This training is designed to meet stringent EASA standards, equips aviation crew members with the skills to collaborate effectively.
Scheduling and Participation The public course is held four times a year—in September, November, February, and April (excluding private bookings). Specific dates are announced one month in advance, and a minimum of four confirmed participants is required for the course to take place. Maximum group size: six (6) participants.
Our course is organized into five key modules:
• General Principles: Foundations of human factors, CRM objectives, and Threat and Error Management.
• Individual Crew Member: Enhancing personality awareness, managing fatigue and stress, and building assertiveness.
• Flight Crew: Understanding automation philosophy and type-related differences in helicopter operations.
• Entire Air Crew: Improving shared situational awareness, workload management, decision-making, and handling surprise events.
• Operator & Organisation: Strengthening operator culture, SOPs, and effective stakeholder communication. Gain a holistic understanding of both individual and collective performance factors with practical insights delivered by experienced helicopter pilots.
