Keep your helicopter/VTOL operations at peak performance with our comprehensive CRM Hybrid Recurrent courses. Designed to meet stringent EASA standards, these courses ensure that your crew continually refreshes the essential skills for safe, efficient, and effective operations. Our recurrent training is delivered as a series of modules over three years—one course per year—that reinforce and update critical CRM competencies. 

Each course is built on two equally weighted components: 
Self-Study Component (50%): Includes engaging video presentations, practical exercises, and a discussion platform, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and internalize key theories before live sessions. (To be completed before the Live session.)   
Interactive Live Component (50%): Features a live session with practical exercises, group discussions, and case studies focused on teamwork and problem-solving. The live meeting lasts approximately three hours, plus two five-minute breaks (roughly one break per hour) to ensure a comfortable and interactive learning experience. Maximum six (6) participants.

Year 2_3 modules:   
• General Principles: Foundations of human factors and CRM objectives. 
• Individual Crew Member: Enhancing personality awareness, managing fatigue and stress, and building assertiveness.  
• Flight Crew: Understanding automation philosophy and type-related differences in helicopter operations.  
• Entire Air Crew: Improving shared situational awareness, workload management, decision-making and effective Communication 
between Air Crew.  
• LIVE Session: 3 hours (without breaks). Maximum six (6) participants.

Our hybrid online course is organized into comprehensive modules. Each module includes video presentations, informative texts, practical assignments, and access to a discussion platform. In addition, you will participate in a live meeting with fellow students and a trainer in a 3-hour session (without breaks)—to facilitate interactive learning and real-time discussions and exercises.  You will have six months of access to the course, allowing you sufficient time to thoroughly absorb the material and apply it to real-world scenarios.

Ralf Molander

Trainer Ralf Molander is currently the commander of a FinnHEMS medical helicopter and has a long background in helicopter operations.  

Ralf completed the MSc in Human factors and system safety course at Lund University in 2012-2014 and currently works as an authorized Crew Resource Management trainer.
